Good Conference, Good Eats, and Good Hangs with Some Smart, Fun Dudes

Not much of a blog post but as I wrap up this next one, I wanted to share…

Last week I presented my and John Lombard’s most recent paper at the 61st Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International in Bethesda, Maryland. The particular session on spatial modeling was hosted by the International Geographic Union. It was an amazing conference and I strongly recommend it to anyone in the quantitative geography field.

To top it all off, I actually got to shake hands with Luc Anselin in the hotel bar, then head out for a great dinner with some fine gentlemen. Good times, folks, good times.
